Kwangwoo attended the 2018 international SLE genetics symposium in Beijing, China from November 16 to 18, 2018. Prestigious SLE geneticists from all over the world gathered to discuss current SLE genetic research and future directions. Kwangwoo gave two research talks in a Korea-China joint meeting and a main symposium section - SLE genetic variants-II main symposium session. He also served as a section chair in a main section- SLE, Biobank, and Translation Medicine.
