Welcoming Hyunmin Im to Kim Lab's PhD Program

I'm delighted to extend a warm welcome to Hyunmin Im, who joined the Kim Lab as a PhD student in September 2023. Hyunmin pursues her Ph.D. in the Department of Biology at Kyung Hee University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Systems Biomedical Science at Soongsil University, completing her undergraduate program from March 2017 to August 2023.

Hyunmin's journey with Kim Lab began in January 2023 when she embarked on an internship research project, eight months before officially starting her PhD program. In her first project, Hyunmin is delving into the transcriptomic landscape of connective soft tissue around the spine in patients with ankylosing spondylitis. Her work holds the promise of contributing valuable insights to our understanding of this complex condition.

Join us in welcoming Hyunmin Im to the Kim Lab community. Here's to a successful and fulfilling academic journey!
