Kwangwoo's HLA fine-mapping study published in PLoS Genetics

A deep analysis on HLA variants in SLE conducted by three co-first authors (Drs Molineros, Looger & Kim) , two senior authors (Drs. Bae & Nath), and other colleagues revealed the most complete map of SLE-risk variants in the MHC region, highlighting SLE-risk amino acid residues in several HLA genes and SLE-risk HLA-DRB1 residues involved in the production of SLE autoantibodies.
